Hmm....well, it's directed by Bryan Singer, who I think is a pretty decent director. And James Marsden is in it, so I'm excited about that =)
The teaser trailer doesn't look that good though, but I saw Batman Begins and loved it =)
So maybe i'm judging too quickly lol
I'll probably be seeing this movie though anyway lol

I'm probably going to see this movie, it's the same style as Batman Begins, where it shows the beginning and how they came to be.

Oy.

I think I've had enough of this whole Superman thing really. They had 3 movies (I think) in the past and they have Smallville now. We ALL know how it starts already, so I don't see the point in re-showing what everyone knows already.

IMO, they should just leave well enough alone.

Superman Returns in 3D?! WHAAAAAAT

Comic Book Movies

QUOTE
April 3, 2006: IMAX Corporation and Warner Bros. Pictures announced that Superman Returns, directed by Bryan Singer, will become the world's first live-action Hollywood feature to be converted from 2D to IMAX® 3D. IMAX Corporation will use its proprietary 2D to 3D conversion technology to convert approximately 20 minutes of the film into An IMAX 3D Experience®, the most immersive cinematic 3D in the world. During select sequences of the film, a visual cue designed by Singer will indicate when audiences should put on and remove their IMAX 3D glasses. Thanks to 'DarkHorizons' for the news.

I don't think its going to be as good as Batman Begins or the Spider-Man series, but I think it'll hit at least 140M which is all they want. I personally don't think Superman is really an interesting story, Spider-Man owns it in the whole "secret identity" shtick and Batman owns it in terms of villians.

They made Superman be a bit more human. He even has a ____. I liked the fact that they did try to make him a bit more human. Gave a more..practical sense about it.

The CG was amazing. Stunning.

i didn't like it maybe because i'm more of a batman fan. i slept through first 15 minutes of it. the movie felt so long, my ass hurt by the time i got out. good thing the tickets were free, i would not see it again even if someone paid me.

i honestly didnt like it. fast pace at the beginning. in fact i think that was the only part there was some sort of action. other then that the rest of the movie was pretty slow.

batman begins > superman returns

Saw it last night. T'was a pretty good movie actually.
I want superman to come save me<3 rawr.

Wasn't the best guy in my opinion to play superman, but it really was pretty good.
Bryan Singer def did his job.
yay to Parker Posey, she did a great job as well.
