okay so i really like this guy, and he's one of my close friends. we have like every class together, so i see him all day. we would talk online for hours, but could never really talk in school. he's never had a girlfriend. i've had three boyfriends. he has some social problems where he thinks everyone is out to get him. he thinks he has no friends and that everyone hates him. i want to help him and make him realize that this is not true. i knew he knew that i liked him, because i told some of his friends. so a few days ago i told him how i felt. which i realize now was a big mistake. i took some advice from his best friend who told me to "give him some space & let it sink in". i don't know what to do. i know he's afraid and probably WOULDN'T tell anyone if he had any feelings for me whatsoever. he told me hes "busy" right now with his band, school, & hockey. i haven't talked to him since, except yesterday when it was his birthday & i wished him a happy birthday. i want to wait and see what will happen.. but i was wondering what do you guys think are the chances? please please HELP! blink.gif

I think this is normal. He's probably gonna be pretty shy around you now. You can either give him some space and let it sink in like your friend said. Or just pretend like he never found about that you like him happy.gif

His friends are right about giving him some space....and if he wants to stay friends then don't bother to make him change his mind because i don't think anyone has done that in less than a certain time period

Some guys are just afraid to commit themselves to girls. Give it some time. And don't act weird around him...it's just drive him further away. And sometimes the best relationship between a guy and a girl is just to remain friends...

I agree. The more you push or make it seem as pressuring him to like you back, then he will just distance himself from you.
