Hi I'm currently new at this whole HTML buisness.
At the moment I'm using a layout from here and layoutland.com but i'm having trouble with it. The code is: with it looking like this : what it looks like the only trouble is i dont know where to type for writing to end up on the big square blog section on the left hand side. Can anyone help? I really want to get starting to use this straight away. The large square was saved as boxcolor_c.jpg if that helps at all.... |

You can't put <center> tags before the <html> tags...put them INSIDE the <html> tags

You have this code:
That needs to be changed to this: That different page will have your background image and the content. For example: You would name all that ^ as somefilename.html, then put that file name in the place where I put URL FOR A DIFFERENT PAGE earlier. And as Katrina said, you shouldn't have the center tag outside the html tag. Move it after this: Okay, so wow, that took me like 15 minutes. *phew* Please tell me if I wasn't clear enough or was too confusing, I'll try as hard as I can to clarify.
