I'm a member of Xanga, but not a premuim member. I have a custom HTML for a skin/layout from createblog.com. The instructions clearly quote: Copy and paste the code into Look and Feel. I then click onto the Look and Feel link. I scroll down and I see a bunch of blank boxes, at the bottom 3 large ones. Since I'm not a premium member, I cannot paste the HTML in the first large text box. There are two others. I paste the HTML in one and preview it; same with the other textbox. It doesn't work.
How do I use a skin/layout when I'm not a premuim member of Xanga? |

In your Looks and Feel, right after your 1st section called "Page Width & Alignment", there is a section called "Header" and a drop down list. Select "Input your own Header HTML" and the box should appear. (all cB skins are made for non-premium users)

Right underneath Page Width & Alignment, there should be Header.
In that section, there should be a drop-down menu, that has "Hide Header", "Create A Custom Header", or "Input Your Own HTML". "Input Your Own HTML" is the one you want to select. When you do, the blank text box will appear. That's where you put your HTML. |
