I'd like to first thank everyone for participating in this event - all those who were nominated, the members for voicing their opinions, the current staff members for their insight as well as Christina and the Head Staff (Sammi, Frankie, Heather and Eve). Without all your help, the selection process would have been much more difficult than it already was.
I'd also like to take this time to remind everyone that you don't have to be a staff member to make a difference in the cB community. If you weren't chosen today, please don't be discouraged. the one thing i have a problem with is that a lot of the staff didnt nominate people for design staff because they didnt visit those forums..so a lot of nominees had such few ..supporters because people dont really know about those forums.
 o well. good choices still. im just sad. |

well, i'd like to point those who are feeling sad/disheartened/ etc to the bylaws forum.
which is, i'd like to think, responsible for the new system of selecting mods. this is where any member can have a say and an influence. |

Mmm, no no, I visit the Design forums quite a bit. There were just some people who shouldn't be modded right now, and in all seriousness, there's limited qualified people for modship that frequently go in the Design forums. Those nominated were the best of the crop.
If anyone thought any others were qualified, you should have said something in the discussion thread. It was there for that purpose. Or, if you're just surprised you weren't hired and thought you should have been, you can PM an Admin or Head and find out why you weren't, if you're so concerned. MICHAEL AND JUSTIN OMG I LOVE YOU YAYYYYY WOOOOOO AND I LOVE THE REST OF YOU TOOOOOO SO COOL YAY NEAT WOOHOO! |

go there. discuss. post. help make changes. (this is realzted because it's directed at new mods. and people who were nominated. and everyone else who has time and something to contribute. and old mods. ) |

^ Actually, I agree with the one person chosen for Xanga staff. Ken, Reili, and Jonathan were (are) doing an awesome job between the three of them so only one was really needed.
