wow.. tonight totally sucked... (as in the night of tuesday) because i might as well get to point... the piping in our washer, snapped. We dont know why but it broke and water got EVERYWHERE... in that general area. Ill tell you and later ill add some pics... ugh... so first when it snapped *i assume* it madly poured into the garage... so its wet all there... it went thru the floor and ruined my dads work room... its dripping wet and the walls are all covered in wet... everything in that room is wet.... but thats not even the worst part... it RUINED our wood floor... so now we have to replace it.. and when u replace a wood floor... you HAVE to do the whole thing!!!!!!!!!! omg.... this is terrible... im sad...

Oh my! That's horrid. I'm sorry to hear about that horrible experience. I went through the same thing in September when the pipe in our basement stopped and the water built up inside. Now it smells down here and the carpet had to be ripped out.

Your garage has wood floors? Is it like converted into a room?

It is unfortunate, but remember that it is only material objects--worse things could have happened.
