It's a small industry. Not a lot of availability. And when it's crunch time for a game, you're not allowed to sleep!

I don't want anything to do with the videogame industry, but I would like to make a nice little php multiplayer turn based strategy game. That'd be fun.

I doubt these games will be any good though. I don't mean to burst your bubble. If you have the dedication, go for it. I just want you to know that it's not just playing games. If that's what you want to do, work for a videogame magazine. |

i would wana work for insomniac or Ubisoft, not EA. EA's games are half ass, though they make the most money, they dont work together nor care about their employees as much. they just care about money.

Ha ha, I'm sure every guy once wanted to be in the gaming industry when they were young.
And then they learn a few years later how hard it is, and perhaps there's something better out there. The gaming industry sure would be interesting; not something I'd aim for though. |
