Div layer width settings, ...For my blog body Options

Is there any particular reason why xanga is completely ignoring my width settings? It's kind of irksome. If anyone knows what's wrong with this blog body div layer, I'd be glad for help.

You might need to change some of the default page width settings at the top of your CLAF page also.

Look for this in your code.

width:###px;} /* <-- The width for this should be around 5-15 pixels less then the width for your blog's div layer. */

Fix that and if you have div.smalltext or date with in your styles, those must be less than or equal to your blog width.

Wow, I'm dumb...I didn't even stop to think of using what xanga already offered. Using the normal blog width settings at the top of xanga...yes, that worked and was very simple.

you don't put the class in the middle of your style. They're two completely different things.

Everything in a quote (" ") need a colon (: ), everything outside use equal sign (= ).

Thank you! I was aware it looked wrong, but never knew the specifics like that. Now I'll know for later. I appreciate the extra explaination.

EDIT:
Ok, I substituted mine for yours and that just (for whatever reason) altered the positioning and my z-index was ignored. Not sure why, since all you did was rearrange and correct. Well, if the imperfect way works for now...I guess that's fine. =P

Is that vectoring your own work? It's very nice. I'm a big fan of vectors...
