Overall, I like the layout, but the background is horrible. Not becuase oyu're the subject [presumably], but that it's messy and it clashes with the content of the layout.

^ I agree. The layout is nice, but the background just makes it look.. bleh.

^ Solid would be ok, but you can try something like stripes or something simple.
