Im not exactly sure where this belongs sinces it does involve guys and it also involves fashion... Anyways the concept of having a man bag is very popular in the asian countries and starting to get a foothold in the United States, Uk, and alot of other countries as well. So what do you guys think about it? I personally kinda like the second one in which the logo is "Man-n-Bag"

that would be called a man purse not bag you would have to be gay to use one of those. laptop cases are the only non gay bags guys should have

i've seen a lot of guys with those messenger bags. it doesn't make you gay...however, i saw a man on the train about a month ago with a bright, red, leather bag...now that's kind of homosexual.

Isn't the third one a laptop case? I have a Crumpler bag that looks just like that, but it's not a "purse"-type bag, it's a laptop case.
By the way, in terms of laptop cases and messenger bags, Crumpler makes great bags. |

Man purse=not cool. Even though Tom Brady (QB for the Patriots) pulls it off well, its not cool.
Messenger bags are more like briefcases. Those are acceptable. |

Messenger bags are okay.
I don't get why guys would carry a "man-bag" though. Guys' pant pockets are pretty big, no? Unless they're "emo" and like to wear women's jeans, I understand why they would want to carry a "man-bag". |

^yeah, it is a man purse, murse, whatever. It all comes done to being the same thing. If a guy wants to carry around a bag or purse, then go for it. I've never seen anyone carry a thing like that before, though.

It looks more like something a college person would carry around. It would fit a lot stuff, laptops, textbook, etc. I personally wouldn't carry it around though. I'm sticking to old fashion bookbags.

To expand, messenger bags were first used by NYC bicycle couries and are based on telephone linemen's bags of the 1950s. They were used because they can hold a lot of stuff and can easily be thrown over one shoulder, which means that they can be worn over the back, which is handy when you are riding a bicycle.
