Hi- Well four days ago, my iTUNES stop working--which was weird b/c it worked for months till that day. iTUNES isnt the only program that is infected, its also quicktime for some reason. I reinstalled with the CD, than uninstall it, then installed the updated version of iTUNES from Apple.com. And nothing seems to work!! Seriously, it's getting on my nerves;
Well I wrote down what the Error Messages say:
#1
Quicktime failed to intialize. Error# -2095
Please make sure Quicktime is properly installed on this computer
#2
Quicktime failed to initialize error #634(0 or 4 I wrote this number weird.)3
Please make sure Quicktime is properly installed on this computer

---
I really have no idea what those error #'s mean or the messages. I think I installed Quicktime properly because I Q.time was installed at the same time itunes was being installed. Then when I went to click on the Quicktime icon in the control panel, it says: An exception occured while trying to run
"shell32.dll,Control_RunDll "C:\Windows\system32\quicktime.cpl" ..probably I should uninstall quicktime? But I dont how to...i dont know

Can anyone figure this out? please help..i really do need it

quicktime.cpl is the QuickTime control panel for Windows.

I suggest uninstalling both iTunes and QuickTime, then downloading the iTunes installer from Apple.com or installing from your CD (the iTunes installer includes QuickTime). Reinstall iTunes (with QuickTime--don't worry, you won't see an option for this because QuickTime must be installed with iTunes, so just run the iTunes installer) and see if it works then.
