Alyson woke to the sound of thumps in the cieling
Critters crawling up and down through boards and beams She shrieked a sissy's scream and fell from her bed "DADDY!" In he rushed, bat in hand turned a circle and said "What's the matter pumpkin?" "Something's in the cieling and I'm really scared Don't make me go back to bed, not up there." He picked her up and put her back on the top bunk "You've got to be brave, got to toughen up." "But it wasnt my imagination, I know there's something there" "We'll see about it tomorrow, go to bed Alys dear." An hour passed and she woke again, this time to movement on her bed tiny little eyes, hairy little feet with claws Then she knew what was in the attic and screamed without pause |

The creature on her bed is a squirrel. Didn't want anyone to think that it was really scary, she was just scared of a bushy tailed nut eater. |
