Hilary Duff's new video "Beat of My Heart" is very different as opposed to her previous videos. I have loved this song since her 'Most Wanted' album came out.

i despise hilary, her song... BLAH! i agree... its too poppy... the video had cool effects, but her song didnt deserve those effects...

hmm, ok wow. her chorus is basically "the beat of my the beat of my heart" over and over and over and over again. why the hell is she even a singer? her voice has no vibrato and sounds so effing monotoned. youd think that after 2 years, he voice would have changed from her metamorphasis (SP) cd, but it hasnt! GR. i hate how she got everything because of disney.

There are a lot of songs with the same verse as the chorus.

I like Hilary Duff. I like her acting and singing. This video was.. interesting as was the song. I don't think it's bad, but I don't think it's that good either. It's just inbetween. I must say Lindsay Lohan's "Confessions Of A Broken Heart" was way better.

I just saw the premiere on TRL yesterday. I think it was a pretty retro video. It reminded me of a James Bond movie though.

All she does is say "the beat of my heart" and whatever else rhymes with heart. Her voice is all messed with and it doesn't sound good.

She sings just fine. Her 'Most Wanted' album was meant to be really techno-y with remixes of old songs along with new songs. I'm the executive producer of record label Certified Music and we specialize in techno; her music is just fine.

but to tell you guys the truth, ive heard this song so many times that its starting to stick to me and im actually starting to like it. ohmy.gif

I saw a tad bit of the music video and after she said "The beat of my heart" for the billionth time i started banging my head on the table and changed the channel.
Come on my dog is more creative then that, but uh no offense to anyone who likes her.

I admit that I was a closet Lizzie fan! hehehe And I've liked Hilary since then (as a person ... NOT as a singer). But damn it all hell ... that damn Beat of My Heart song is a friggin train wreck. Her voice is super whiny - it's actually worse than usual. And she repeats the title so much it seems like she's trying to literally keep up with the beat of her heart! And dammit ... someone please feed the girl. Part of the reason I liked her was the fact that she had a "normal" body.

Well the song is okay.. her voice is somewhat stronger, BUT it sounds like there's other people singing too. IDK.. her voice isn't that good.

She got really thin though. o__O

Her voice didn't get better. The song is kinda.. blah... But I like how they would blend her face and like, her whole body or something. Kinda neat, but the whole concept and song is.. BLAHH...

My thoughts exactly. It's so damn prissy, it's not even funny. Her voice in this song is so squeaky. Ew. And plus, I hate artists who remake old songs, they just ruin it.
