I've NEVER been on a rollercoaster before, becuz im scared to DeaTH! i went to the State fair, not too lonG ago, and i went on this riDe and i literally almost had a heart attack. happy.gif the only reason i got on the ride, was becuz i wanted to have a good tiem with my friends.

But i really want to ride a rollercoaster, but im just too afraid! ermm.gif i hate that feeling that i get in my stomach when im on any type of ride, that spins, flips, or drops u 200ft from the air!

is a RollerCoaster really that bad? ermm.gif

I've gone on three. I really don't like them a whole lot either, so people have to drag me on--and they're not very often successful.

I used to be scared of them. And then I got onto Medusa in Six Flags, and I've never been the same. I love roller coasters now.

I love rollercoasters. I'm addicted to the rush of adrenaline they give me. But, I can't go on the same one more than 3 times, or it gets boring.

If you're going to go on a rollercoaster, I suggest going on one at a theme park. They tend to be safer and more stable because they're bolted to the ground unlike carnivals and fairs where the rides have to get disassembled every few weeks.

I've been on one roller coaster. It was weird, because it was all in the dark. I've been on a lot of those virtual ones!

I'm not scared of rollercoasters. I just love the exhilaration and the feeling that your heart is going to jump out of your chest...it's fantastic. The faster it goes, the more dangerous it is, the more I enjoy it. =)

Unfortunately I didn't think this way when I was a kid, so I've passed up MANY opportunities to go on some awesome rides when I travelled more a few years ago. Now I'm stuck with this lousy wooden rollercoaster in my local amusement park.

If you want to try out roller coasters and want to try to enjoy them, go on like kid-level roller coasters, then start going to a different level as time goes on...that's what i did when i got rid of my fear of roller coasters

Call me a coward, but rollercoasters are evil. I could careless. The only reason I'd ever go on a rollercoaster is ... well, if someone special made me. -giggles- happy.gif

My parents told me that they brought me on a roller coaster when I was, like 3 mellow.gif, but I don't really recall that at all.

My advice is that if you want to get your heart flying out of your chest and your throat all sore from screaming, go ahead.

Wow I feel strange. I hate rollercoasters, never in my life have I liked them, however I've been on probably 50 different coasters. I keep tricking myself into thinking I'll like it if I go just one more time. Being a gymnast, I give myself that adrenaline rush, and on a rollercoaster I panic because I'm not the one controlling my movements. If that makes any sense at all.

I love rollercoasters and the exhilaration that you get from them. It's really fun though. Maybe you should try the smaller scale/kiddy ones before going on the bigger ones.

I agree. i love rollercoasters because of that rush. i'd get so excited to go to a theme park like 6 flags or something. i used to be scared of them when i was younger, though
