Here are some questions that are asked the most:

Is my order approved and created automatically?
Due to increased internet fraud, accounts are not activated nor created automatically. This is to prevent any kind of malicious activity on the server. However you will receive an e-mail from us confirming your invoice payment. Account creation generally occurs within the first few hours of receiving your order (sometimes way quicker then that!)

Do you offer a money back guarantee?
We offer a 14-Day Money Back Guarentee. If you are dissatisfied with our service(s) for any reason, you will receive a full refund (minus any setup fees, domain name registrations, or registrar transfer fees) if you cancel your account within 14 days from the date your account was activated.

Can I use my reseller account to run my own hosting company?
Yes, you can create your own packages and sell them at your own price. However we do expect you to provide your clients with domain name registration, direct billing, and technical support to your customers. We don't want leave them hanging! =)

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Paypal and major credit cards for payments. You do not need a PayPal account to make a credit and/or debit card payment to Holdfire Network. We can also accept postal money orders upon request, but please contact our sales department if you have any questions about using other forms of payment.


Can you transfer over my existing cPanel account?
We can most definitely transfer over ANY size cPanel account to our servers, whether it's for shared or reseller. Not only that but it's FREE of charge to new orders. The only requirement is that your cPanel account be available (not suspended) to be able to transfer it over. Check out our cpanel transfer guide.

Never. Holdfire.net is a webhosting company, and will never offer free hosting.

I host subdomains on my personal domain, however I'm horribly picky and prefer people to have similar interests as I do.

Well... I can answer your question...

Yes, Holdfire does have subdomains available in the packages. Cpanel makes it easy to create them.

You are allowed to host however many people you want, but remember that they use the space and bandwidth that you get with whatever plan you chose.

I understand ftp, it's just.......when I clicked on the files it doesn't have "edit" under it and I can't find index.

My disk usage keeps going up and up and I haven't even done anything...:(.

I deleted my .htaccess in my public_html / WysiwygPro...
Now everything is screwed and it won't let me do anything and my parent directory has soooo many files, please help me!

This is an entirely different situation. If it was a hypothetical question, with a hypothetical answer I wouldn't care. However, HE's answering questions that related to MY company. He does not work for my company, he does not own it, nor is he a customer. A complete stranger does not have any right to answer technical questions that require specific answers (ie: what kind of server.)

FYI: A person wants a host that will answer their questions with the correct answer.

You shouldn't care about anything I say on this forum. If you want to answer questions solely by yourself, your customers or future customers should contact you directly, and I would encourage them to do so. Quite honestly, I think it would have been better for this topic to have been closed, and told your possibly future customers to contact you via email.

I just started with them last night; I'm still waiting for that dns to get registered--I agree with that, but it's not that bad. I'm pretty patient right now.

I ended up going with their most expensive reseller plan, which is pretty damn good compared to everywhere else, and I've looked at god knows how many others places and compared. Still with surpass though.

You get unlimited mysql databases (and the space that pertains to them is obviously whatever amount your allocated.)

How do you know it was a hacker and your server is just not down?

LuvsDogs387, I will not ever gaurentee 100% uptime because that means no maintenaince is performed on the servers. Currently there has been no downtime at all, so for the past couple of months uptime has been 99.99%.

im pretty sure it was a hacker.. their server was down because of a hacker before, and i asked the owner and he said that its the hacker again.. but w/e, it might not have been.

Once she pays for the domain hosting and registration, her package will get activated immediately. However, if no payment is received, obviously nothing will get activated.

You've had your account since 11/30/05; This is the first issue we have had to take care of with you, as our customer. Also, your price has not changed at all. Do I need to show proof that you have been paying the same amount every month, aside from the first month, which included the domain name registration.

Also, you were sent an invoice previously; You should have received one 1/28/06, because that was the last date I generated upcoming invoices. If you did not receive an invoice, apoligies, however for future reference your due date will always be on the 30th, so now you know that's when a bill is due. If you do not receive an invoice to pay, then that's when you can contact HF so we can get the e-mailed to you.

However, if a payment is not received by 11:59PM (EST) on the due date, then the account becomes unsuspended. Your e-mail to us was received BEFORE your payment was verified by our vendor. Therefore your account was not reinstated until the verification e-mail was received.

If you feel that you want a phone number to contact me personall at, then please send an e-mail to j.miskowicz@holdfire.net and I will gladly supply it to you. Also, please do refrain from further slandering of the company with false statements.

If you want a domain and hosting, you would want to click the link in her signature. If you wanted the domain only, I would go to Go Daddy or Name Cheap.

If you are looking to just purchase and register a domain name, then you can visit godaddy.com.

However, do note that unless you already have dns nameservers that your domain will point to, you will not be able to access yourdomain.com as such, until you have hosting.

If you need hosting, visit holdfire.net and order a plan that will include hosting and the one-time-fee for domain name registration.

Yeah, those packages are going to be outdated once the move into a new server is complete. Then all sorts of new ones will be added, and most will be over 5gb's of space alone, as well as reseller packages available to purchase.
