I'm sure not a whole lot of you have heard of Newsies, but bear with me. It's basically a musical made in the nineties about these newspaper boys in 1899 NYC who go on strike. Well with a lot of cute guys and neat dance moves too (I swear, those pictures don't do most of them justice...). Anyhow, I have this layout and I need two things.
First of all I think it needs spiffed up... I've tried brushes and textures and overlays and everything, but it all just looks like it doesn't fit. So I need advice on that. Second of all, I want to put a quote from the movie on there, and these are the lines I thought of while listening to the sound track (whaaaat, I love this movie). So tell me if one of them jumps out at you, okay? QUOTE "Five thousand fists in the sky... five thousand reasons to try." "Carrying the Banner!" --(it's, like, their motto) "Now they're goona see what stop the presses really means" "When you got a million voices singing, who can hear a lousy whistle blow?" I like the movie too! My class watched it during class and all of my friends are obsessed with the cute boys.

ooh i like it. nice blending and brown tones. perhaps add some textures or brushes or something?

Oh I see Kelly! My choir class just watched that movie I love Kelly
 and also, to make it a bit better try some textures the image seems to....plain[Edit] Okay I saw what you wwrote you already tried textures. Hmmm.......then I think some brushes on the ednges around the top, and also, I think it'll be perfect just that way. YOur colors blend so well. And this quote I want you to put this one up it's my favorite from the movie: "Arise and sieze the day" |

Okay see the guy right in front of the picture of the class room board? Take him out and move Bill Pullman to that position. Make the two guys to the right end rougher looking. Yes, unsmooth the blending slightly, make it have texture.

i think it looks too clean and also the guy writing on the blackboard..the white of his sleeve is very bright and distracting..so i guess lower the opacity of his sleeve so the white isnt that bright

Arise and sieze the day
i really like this blend =) the tone of it is juss so nice.. like the browness ahaha well hmm i cant think of any brushes/textures to use.. its always best juss to play around with em, its hard to tell without doing that |
