You know how in your address bar as you type something in sometimes other urls that begin the same come up? For example you start to type in www.blah.com/ and then www.blah.com/blah shows up under the bar...

Well how long do those stay there? If somebody visited a page months or more ago would it still pop up?

You see I was at my boyfriends and xanga porn adresses showed up. I didn't even know there was such a thing. But he said that he used to a while ago and has since matured and gotten over it. But wouldn't it mean they were recent if they showed up

If you use internet explorer, all you have to do is right click the program, like on the desktop, and click properties, then click the delete history and cookies.

It depends on the browser settings. You get to choose how long the history remains on your computer.

It depends on how long he keeps his history setting. But I would guess that he is still lookig at it. Whats the deal with girls and porn?

go to tools > internet options > then under the "general" tab, click "clear history" > press "yes"

you can also change the number of days to whatever you want and it'll automatically delete the history after x amount of days.

Wouldn't history also slow down your computer?

Not really. They're just static data files stored on the hard drive.
