We just ran out of candy and it's only 7. People don't usually stop until 8 or 9...I turned off the porch light and people still keep knocking on the door and I have to give away my school candy and I'm almost out of that...

You can put a sign on your door that says, "Sorry - We're out of candy!" or this one sign I remembered last year that said they were ghosted.
