White Sox clinched the World Series!
Oh, what a way to end the game. Uribe makes a great grab for a foul ball, and a close play at first closes the inning. Reminds me of playing baseball as a boy. Isn't it every young man's dream to win the World Series? What a great game for the Sox! |

Indeed, but I think Houston didn't play very well--they had a lot of scoring chances throughout the series. But oh well, that was such a close play at first, I thought he was safe for a second! Anyways, good job to the Sox =]

I was going for Chicago White Sox every since May. I'm so glad they won it even though I wanted them to play the Cardinals and the Cards to win it. Congradulations Sox!

man i'm a huge astros fan but yeah...
Houston always CHOKES.. i hate it.. remember the Rockets at the playoffs last year?? they lost by what.. 30 points in that last game?? wtf Astros played well all playoffs long BUT THEN... Taveras hits lead off doubles, Berkman gets walked, Ensberg can't hit, Lidge Can't Pitch, and Garner puts in bagwell to play.. oh well.. it was some good games but we didn't get the runs.. but serioulsy.. WHITE SOX GOT TOO LUCKY all playoffs long.. how many calls went their way? especially in angels games... |
