Coding..., I'm clueless, pretty much. >.> Options

Alright, I've really been into graphics/xanga/stuff recently, so I was trying to make a new layout for myself, and while I've been reading up on all these coding tutorials it's giving me a headache and apparently this is just something I will never understand.

I'm not asking for anyone to code this FOR me, but I wanted to ask some questions on stuff that I didn't quite get...anyway, this is the layout picture I've done on PS

(I'll edit in something like what I want it to look like - text placement and stuff - tomorrow when my parents aren't yelling at me. *sighs*)

Eh. Anyway, on one tutorial I read it said something about a createblog xanga editor, that you use when coding so you can preview how it'll look and whatever? If anyone knows if this exists, would it be possible to link me?

And also, what exactly IS Image mapping? Does it make text that you've already put in the picture link to something? Or just the certain spot that you clicked? And when it says to put the URL where do you find that? How do you know what to put? Is it NEEDED to code a layout?

I *think* I know the rest...pretty much...but could someone explain this to me, if it wouldn't be too much trouble? Thanks.

Yeah, that picture looks great!

Image mapping creates an invisible shape above already created text in the background image that acts as a link. To use this, you need to enter coordinates... example:

Now, I don't have Photoshop, and I'm not familiar with the programs it runs, but this should give you a pretty good idea of what you have to do.
