I got this layout from here but it doesnt quite work for me. The background is there and all but the white from the original profile color is still there...how do I make it go away?

I see, did you try to add more stuff to the code, or delete anything you didn't like?

not sure if it helps at all, but i've noticed as of late if i have any comment tags (/*comment*/) present, myspace strips them out and replaces the line with two periods. this seems to be messing up my style instructions unless i remove them entirely. something to possibly check in your own code.

They are. I made a layout for my friend and she asked me to fix it for her. I fixed it by taking out the comment tags like the above one.
