alright, katie said something about official memebers and them having a certain amount of post counts, but being on staff no longer requires it, so i raised the question...do you now have to be an official member still to become a staff member? (kiera told me to start a new thread and that i am doing).
i think we still require it. im not sure if that made any sense, but well interpret as you like and discuss here. |

I think you should have an offical member status to become a mod. Being an offical member is a priviledge that comes with certain benefits, one being the opporunity to become a staff member, if one proves themself well enough.
And wait, the post count requirement hasnt passed yet, we are still voting on it. |

we havent officially decided whether modship will require a post count. lets leave this until we know whether it is actually an issue

hah . . . i remember when i applied for xanga staff i applied to be an official member on the same day. so, its really not a hard thing to do even if you are a qualified senior member or whatever

it's usually pretty easy to get official memberdom. add link to xanga, join group, wait for approval.
however, the waiting for approval might take longer for hiring... so... |

All those in favour of requiring a member to have first been an official member or designer (unless exceptionally qualified, determined by those responsible for hiring) before applying for a staff position, say aye. all those opposed, say nay aye |
