i'm in love with this book.

yes, it's wonderful.

kazuo is cool.

i like mitsuko the best tho.

and of course non-evils, i like shogo. and noriko.

it's also hilarious how that guy started out with a fork.

Kazuo pissed me off; it was like.. Why won't you die, dammit!?

The ending also irked me. I would've much rather just have had Shogo not die and the other two main characters die.

Yeah. Shogo was my favorite.

I actually just read it last month, or so.

i actually wanted shogo to simply kill shuya and noriko. it would have made the book a bit more interesting. not really a plot twist, but oh well.

i'm not sure why kazuo survived the explosion. i'm pretty sure he survived the uzi because it's 9mm and he was wearing a bullet proof.

but the explosion... the only reason i can think of is that kazuo had hidden behind a car.

I would've preferred Shogo killing off Shuya and Noriko; they got on my nerves.

I thought Kazuo was hiding in the car/truck/whatever, which would have shielded him from the explosion..? I'm really not sure; at that point in the book, I just wanted to finish it since I'd been reading for a good two, maybe three hours.

Heh, I have the book and both the movies. Heh. I personally am a Sugimura and Shinji fan. Both seem kickass.

Battle Royale the novel doesn't get released in the UK until 6th of July .. lol, I'm like totally like in love with the film .. I bought the Special Edition and everything which cost £21 so I'm contently waiting for the novel to finally be released.

This was such a great book. I didn't think I would like it, but my friend convinced me to borrow it. I read it in like 2 days. It was awesome and gruesome and just good.
