Confusion., Nothign Works. Options

Okay, why is it that everything that i try on my myspace, does not work? I'm getting a bit frustrated.

#1 I'm trying to get rid of my comments, and my whole profile all together so i can put a div layout over the top of it, but the codes people are giving me really are not working.
