xanga design newb..., ...needs help! Options

hey guys =)
working on a new skin, and i'm having problems with scripting for two separate div layers.

i have one layer for blogs, and one for an "about me" section. both of them are aligned properly left-right wise, but they won't show up next to eachother, just one on top of the other.

also, the css script doesn't seem to affect the second div layer. is this normal?

you should be able to play around with the margin numbers on your div layers to move them around...

Oooo - I think I found it. After the resize comment box code, insert a </div>. That might do it!

I have the same problem. If you have 2 div layers, they both move on whichever margin code is up first. I'm trying to figure this out as well.

Heh, the only thing that is different is that my div's aren't next to each other. A lot of codes seperate it. But I don't think it makes a difference.

Let me try to explain something...
Due to the way Xanga is coded (or at least I think that's why it happens), everything moves according to everything before it (navigation moves if it's after about me or whatever). No matter what. So you move the navigation div first and you put it first in the code. Get that all settled and then you move your content div. So that way, it all works out and you donn't have to do a lot of extra work.
