otay...i got it so everything is perfect in my xanga code...except for one thing. the entry shows up below the side modules i put in. it's my first time where i'm messing around with the modules on the side, so i assume it has something to do with that. you can see it here...and here's the code;
what do i need to adjust so that the entry, everything else, is up by the side modules like it's supposed to be? blackie |

Please use a codebox for longer codes. And... I think you would benifit from reading the tutorials. The answer is div layers, by the way.

Well there are hundreds of ways of making a layout. It would depend on what type you'd like. And we are all speaking english..

all I want is for my modules and entry to be aligned the right way. Is that so much to ask?

Play with the div margins.
And you still haven't provided a xanga, so we don't know what the exact problem is. |

yes, i did, i had a link up there. here it is again, though: clicky here
and i have no idea what you mean by "div margins". i'm quite new to CSS and divs and xanga layouts for that matter, so you're going to have to explain these things to me, please. |

One, Try not to double post please.
Two, move around the postions it should say something like um 245px and it'll have which way to put it, there are several tutorials for this type of thing in which I'm sure someone posted if not here they are again: [http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=34220] <------skinning tutorial [http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=83516] <------Css [http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=18898] <------- Div definitions I'm sure that since some of us can take the time to search up these things you to as well an use the search button and skim through the tutorial section. Not to sound mean of course. |

you don't have to repeat what other people have said. all i wanted to make clear was that the tutorial didn't help me in the least
EDIT: alright, i put in div tags, but i'm still having problems. the very last and bottom module is over a little bit to the left, and i can't get the top links and entry up high enough...it's better, but it's still off-kilter. here's the updated code: and you can still see it here ...please, please, PLEASE can someone tell me in a way that an idiot like myself would understand, how to fix it?? |

And if you'd bothered to code the damn thing correctly, you'd know that your problem was you deleted some stuff in the modules that was important. You should have gone over the code again to make sure that you hadn't messed with the actual code.
And then this goes in webstats. CODE </td></tr></table>

I'm not wasting my precious time, you're wasting yours. Why? Because I said it had to do with the TABLES, not the CSS. Besides, I say you coded it incorrectly, because you never close your stupid tags!
michael77 -> Pay attention to the content of the post. If it differs, then it's a double-post. If not, then they probably just pushed the button twice or the post function is doing funny things again. |

i don't seem to recall you saying that,a nd if you did, it probably went over my head. i'm incredibly stupid.
and also, in my double post, i edited it out and said "dp, accident". i believe that counts as explaining myself once already. |

Your blog entries look aligned to the side modules in the link you provided. Unless I'm missing something that happened between you and the viligante and the moderator, I do not see a problem in your layout. Your online comportment could use some adjusting though.
