after i went to this website, i can't stand to even look at meat. although i do desire the taste for chicken, hamburgers, blah blah blah, its hard to think of what people would actually do this.

im thinking about being a vegetarian - seriously. i wanted to share this website with you people because it really effected me, and i hope you ppl will see what the meat on your plate has gone through...

I just became a vegetarian, I'm having complete issues with meat. I found a chicken vein in my chicken one time and... I guess I'm just squimish but it turned me off of ALL meat... (I already didn't eat beef)

So bow before me, for I am vegetarian. worthy.gif

I do feel bad for the animals. I saw in this movie that the boy felt bad for the pig that got killed and didn't want to eat it but his grandfather said, "The pig has served its place in his life. Don't let his death go to waste."

It's too bad that you can't see all the germs and bacterias and fecal matters that end up on your vegetables. Not to mention the chemicals and genetic tampering that scientists do to them. Vegetables grow from little cute seeds into strong plants. Then one day a big machine comes a long with big sharp whirling razors that just slice their heads off. The vegetables bleed out mucus and sap and their nutrients. Does anyone feel bad for them? Why can't plants have "lives" too? It's such a narrow view to apply "life" to just animals. Hope you notice the sarcasm.

I'm going to keep eating my meat AND vegetables. That's what humans have always done for millenias and I'm not going to stray from evolution. We didn't get here by eating vegetables or meat alone. It doesn't make you any more saintly than other people. It's just a lifestyle choice and to all his own.

I am thinking of being a vegetarian, but I just love chicken.
But I do know what they do to them, and the process.
So I really can't decide...

I'm not 100% vegan or veggie like. But, I like to think that I sort of am since I wont eat certain meats. The only thing I'm having trouble giving up is chicken and turkey skin. I refuse to eat pigs becasue I think they are adorable. So I'v given up on pork. But I do eat eggs and all of that stuff. :D I love meat. Sorta.

being a vegetarian is not that hard people sheesh. All I did was find out how much protein I need in a certain day, which i get from beans, cereal, soy milk, faux meat etc., and make sure you eat a lot of fruits and veggies.

^it's harder than you think. Since I'm mexican, my mom usually cooks mexican food for dinner. And if you know anything about mexican food, you'd know that a lot of the meals consist of meat. I do feel really bad for the animals, but I still eat them pinch.gif

I'm a vegetarian. Been one for 4 years. The first reason why I became a vegetarian is the so-called animal cruelty, courtesy of PETA! Honestly, I came to my senses and figured out that PETA was...undescribably horrid and pushy, but I just couldn't go back to eating meat. Now my main reason for staying a vegetarian is for my health. My family has this long line of health problems and I'd like to stay out of it!

Well...I guess my main point here is to say that if you want to try being a vegetarian, go for it! You just never know what'll happen...;]

I went vegetarian for a month and my mom got really mad.

Most of the things she cooks has meat in it.

So now I'm back to eating meat occasionally.

i must say, at times i'd love to be a vegan because of all the animal cruelty but meat has always been a part of my life and most likely will always be. this is how the world works, good things happen and crappy things happen...you can't stop it, and if you did then the world will become a very boring place and people will cause meaningless conflict just for the sake of conflict.
