I just swallowed a straight pin... you know like the ones you use to keep stuff down when you're sewing?
Nobody's home and I don't know any of my relatives' phone numbers. What should I do? |

just wait till someone comes home, tell them, and then go to the ER. they'll X ray you there and determine if it'll come out alright, or if they have to go in and get it. |

He's right. If you're in pain, then you need to call 911 because its latched in your throat. However, if its not, its just going to stay in your stomach for a while. Right. Yes, I'm still alive (obviously). I just waited until my mom got home and she took me to the emergency room. I hate going there.  And, yeah... they took an x-ray and just told me to "let it pass," and if I "don't see it in the toilet" by Monday, I'm supposed to go back and get another x-ray. Fun, eh? So, yeah.... This can be closed. (Oh, and just for future reference: I'm neither female nor Asian. So stop thinking I am.  )
