ok so i was watching tv the other day and it was like some suspense thing and my brother was totally like NO DONT DO THAT! and OMG WHYD YOU DO THAT or GO BACK! or WATCH OUT! and i was like wow william shut up and stop talking to the tv! so i guess my question is do you or anyone you know like talk to the tv or the person on the tv?

 I was watching a suspense movie earlier today and I caught myself shouting "Get out of the van already!" to the actress on tv. Even though I know it doesn't make a difference and they can't hear me, I can't help myself. |

I do that sometimes. My friend and I guess what will happen in movies.
but my brother dances and screams when he is playing a video game. Literally sticks his butt out and jumps up and down. It's kind of funny. |

my mom is the only person that doesnt it, but its not like during tv shows, its only during sports programming, like football games. she gets into them too much and knows little about sports.

It's so funny when a person does that!
But when I'm real into the movie and it's so suspensful, talking to the t.v. kills it.It's also annoying when my mom says it. |

Well..I'm not going to say how much it annoys me because..when LOST comes on..I am sooo yelling at the TV. Ok, more at Jack, but whatever.
My mom yells at the tv too. Especially when 24 comes on. Oh, and when a good football game is on. |

Well it depends on who's talking, what they're saying and how loud it is. Sometimes, I talk during the movies to my friends, and other times, it doesn't really bother me. But, if it's loud and rude, then it would bother me.

I do that *constantly* I really like to watch TV on my own though. The only time I won't do that is when I watched something already. I wont 'ruin' the ending or stuff like that. But I will definitely make comments about what is going on too. Like if we are watching the news I will go on a rage or into questions about what is going on. Beware the poor soul that dares watch TV with me.

Well I can't say I hate them because I'm one myself.
 I don't even notice it until my sister tells me to shut up and just watch the movie. And I tend to ask questions during a scary part if I didn't catch what the person said before.

I usually only do that when I'm really into the tv/show or the movie I'm watching, but I'll catch myself and stop. It's not something that I do often.
What did tick me off once was that I went to an Opera and I was really starting to like it but then this kid of like 12 yrs old was in a row behind me blasting his rap music and sometimes singing along. So that I consider annoying and disrespectful, at least be quiet and turn down the music. |
