every have someone creepyly IM you? kinda stalkerish, being annoying (and not in the cute/funny way) ?
that's why i love GAIM. yea, this guy kept IMing me, calling me billy, being creey and annoying. i set a buddy pounce on him, to say something that the censors would scream about. oh what fun. i never have to block people anymore... they'll either ditch thier SN or they'll have to block me. yes, what fun. |

oh right... maybe i should have mentioned that.
you can set that an action happens ( like IMs the person) when they do something, like sign on, start typing, stop typing, go idle, go away, return from idle, return from away. yea... fun. |

For gaim, how do you get an old buddy list from an old screenname?
The site says it saves it on the server but I don't know what that means or how to access it. I do <3 gaim though. |

I'm not sure if you can do this on gaim, but if you open the new buddy list on regular AIM, then it should transfer over to gaim. |

I think the best feature of gaim is the logging feature. I really wish AOL IM had that as a built-in feature.
It's really cool how you can easily and quickly search the log files, too. |

thats cool =) but im too lazy to go download it. plus on aim i set it to only allow people on my buddy list to IM me so i don't have anyone bothering me anymore
