Oh yes... Legolas & Aragorn = so good.

The landscape and special effects in the movie were simply amazing

Whoever hasn't watched it... do it now before it's too late!

when the first movie came out (the fellowship of the ring) i had absolutely no interest in seeing it at all. i hadnt seen it until we got it on DVD and my family made me watch it. after that i've been so into the books and movies. when the last one came out i was sooo xcited to see it but when i was in the theater and watching it, it made me sad cuz it was the last movie and the ending to the story. but thats just me.

haha..there were a total of three black/white screens for a couple of seconds, i think. The boys next to us clapped all three times haha..I think the ...third one was the best. I think the second one: TTT was purely just action. Yeah, the third one was pretty long though.

The story is so popular and successful because of its completely developed culture and geography. It's a whole world.

By the way, LEGOLAS IS ALL MINE! shifty.gif

In ROTK, when the men had to fight those 10,000 orcs at the black gate, their horses kinda vanished.
I thought that was weird.

And whatever happened to Saruman? Can't he just over-power the Ents with his magic? I mean, I don't think it's that hard to cast a flame spell. ( For a white wizard I mean. )

- Chinkieeyedpnoi ( Obviously didn't read the books )

Ah I read the books...back in sixth grade...I don't remember all details, but yeah they left out a lot. I can't wait for the extended version, but I know the really big event that [I don't believe was filmed] won't be included is the burning of the Shire because first, it would make the movie an hour longer, and because people want a happy ending, although it was still a happy ending in a way. I was happy that they won all eleven nominations at the Academy Awards, although they beat Pirates of the Caribbean out a couple times in minor categories. Nontheless, as much as I love Johnny, Lord of the Rings deffinately surpasses it. By the way, Saruman dies in the Shire...Grima slit his throat. wink.gif
