where can i find really nice scenery backgrounds? like winter bg and such..b/c i tried googling and the backgrounds have objects in them =\

.... I suggest stock image sites.
There's also plenty of scenery brushes out there that you can use... And you can always take the objects out of the image with photoshop. |

^ Depending on what you're doing. Most of the stock there needs permission to be used outside of DevArt.

I wouldn't call them Backgrounds if you were looking for scenary.
I'd google up: Winter Wallpapers.
