yea a lot of reality shows are rigged but i honestly dont think that american idol is. haha i dont have a reason why but thats what i think.

i'm not sure. i know i dont vote because i figure one vote isn't going to change anything. if there are a lot of people feeling that way, there are a lot of people not voting. and then you've got the family and friends of the contestants who call in and make sure everyone else calls in for their contestant.
either way, i could care less. i've seen AI twice in three seasons. i figure if anyone's any good, they'll make it to the radio and i'll listen to 'em then. at least i don't have to sit thru the bad ones that way! |

Saying that it's rigged is everyones excuse for not voting. I think either way, no matter who stays in or who gets kicked off, people will still complain that the show is rigged.
 I think the results are pretty accurate. I mean think about it. A lot of the voters are below the age of 13, and they don't only vote once! I was looking through the American Idol forums, and a bunch of little kids admitted to voting for John Stevens 500+ times. The solution would be to allow only one vote person, but I guess that would be impossible to implement. |

I doubt it. There is no reason for it to be rigged. What would the TV people gain?

I heard that Clay was supposed to win the 2nd American Idol, but they didn't want us to think that they only like white people so they said Ruben won.

yes. the show is biased 4 certain ppl 2 win. not 2 b racist, but like they made rubin the fave so he cud win, bcuz every1 said tht Tamira from 1st season shuda won, but lost cuz shes black.
the host guy started "rrooooben" and stuff, and the way they percieved him on camara. think about it. |

C= but i think fantasia would win man Finally John Stevens is OUT ! but is this true cause i go to mililani high sku and i know one of her friends and she sed that jasmine was going out with john stevens ? you know that jasmine isnt always perky but she won that road to fame contest !

i'm pretty sure it's not i agree with 'xquizit' it's all the people who assume the good people will get the votes so no one votes. *bad people* and it's the people who vote 1000000 times for their favortites. so rigged by the prodcuers? no. rigged by the american audience? yes.

 why does everything always have to be a racial issue. the race of the contestants have nothing to do with who the producers so called "choose" to win. america votes for the winner, and if it happens to be a white person, then a black person, why does everyone automatically assume that the show is rigged? |
