Divided
I’m a disease that infects innocent hearts Filling their minds with foolish thoughts With such innocence lost What remains, and at what cost? When one not so innocent draws near What do I have left to fear? In his eyes I see a mirror Of my own thoughts of pain so clear My hear is broken in two One half for him, the other for you I am the girl in the storm who cries, “A heart divided is a broken heart in a clever disguise” |
