Ok, so our teacher assigned us this assignment.
We have to find 3 objects that when you drop them underwater, and when they reach a certain depth in the water, they crinkle because of the pressure. I need the 3 objects and the source and the depth in which they crinkle or get crushed I've been looking on google for a long time and I was wondering if any of you guys could help. Maybe you could tell me what to search on google or something This is due Friday. Thanks! |

Well in Class we're talking about Bouyancy and Density, mass and Volume
and we got into this discussion of how something sinks so deep it gets crushed Thanks for trying anyways *sigh* |

Pretty much anything will crumble do to pressure. It just depends how far down it goes. When you drop the object, how far does it let you go? Is there a time limit in which the object must crumble?

I just need 3 objects
NO time limit , no how far does it let you go and FREEcandies gave me 3 items but I still don't know what Depth they crinkle at and the Source |

Problem with FREEcandies three objects are that there densitys are so low that the only way you would be able to make them sink is the push them with force. I personally would choose metals like copper and lead.

Oooh, I forgot that they have to sink on their own too...my bad. The question asks for the depth too? That's just beyond grade school...
