Banner Making, How do you make a banner? Options

I know lots of people would ask how tp make a banner and then people would reply but i still dont get it! i know im pathetic.

so, i downloaded brushes but how do u open them to photoshop 7?

then how do u make like the brushes in two or three colors? like i tried with some tuturials but i dont know if its right. also, sometimes when i download a brush, theres this tag or label or whatever on like the corner. how do i get rid of that annoying thing?

how in the world do u like also adjust like the font? i mean i know download it, but what next? like when you download a font, it says baby kruffy or something like that, but i dont want the banner to say baby kruffy. so how do u do it?

to summarize all these questions, HOW DO U MAKE A BANNER? if there is like a site of some sort that teaches people how to make banners or if your like a complete banner king or queen, please tell me and TEACH ME!! also, if there is a cool brush site that has photoshop download thing tell me!! the kind of banner i want to make is like and [/CODEBOX][/CODEBOX][/CODEBOX][/CODEBOX][/CODEBOX][/CODEBOX][/CODEBOX]

ok. You should see a message. If you don't, just read these and you should be able to do it:

what does PM stand for?
PM is short for "Personal Message."

How do I check my PMs?
Click on "__ new messages" to check your PMs.

directions for windows:
when you download the font, unzip it.
then when you're done, a folder should pop up with the font files. if there is a notepad, you can delete it. only take the ones that are a font file. you can highlight all of them (unless there's one, then just click on that one) and you can highlight all by pressing ctrl + a. click 'move this file(s)'.
open up local disk (c:) and find your WINDOWS folder. open that up and search for FONTS folder. click on FONTS - the folder - and hit move. then.. wait a while.
when it's done open up psp and search for the font. when you type, it will be in the FONT baby kruffy, not saying baby kruffy. where you downloaded it probably only said the font name because it was showing you what it looks like.
