background repeat

I'm making a new layout and I cant get the background to repeat right. Does anyone know how to make the background repeat horizontally(left to rght) only at the top? I got the repeat part right but it keeps repeating when I scroll down

I'm just trying to learn some more HTML and stuff while I'm doing this so yeah. But it works. Thank you! _smile.gif
