Not quite transparent?, Not a question asked often if at all Options

Okay. I have strange request for my xanga.
I'm putting a background image in, but where I write (I have the borders around the blogging area, you know what I mean?) I don't want that space to be TOTALLY transparent, I want a little white in it, but not so white that it's an opaque white, but just enough so that it's a medium between transparent and opaque. I don't know if that makes any sense at all, and if it doesn't, I'll clarify, but if you think you can help at all it's much appreciated

You mean a white background, but you want to lower the opacity of it.

and then I think for the blog body you can try adding this in.

It worked for my blog body, but I also have custom left modules, lol...and that's not quite working, so I don't know. Hmmm.

It also should happen to the posts. I believe there is no solution - it's just a side-effect..
