Like it or not?
If yes, what kinds do you like? My favourites are: Punk Lolita, Gothic Lolita, and Elegant Gothic Lolita. And no, I am not talking about the type of Lolita that is an, "A seductive adolescent girl." A not-so-old-but-kind-of Japanese style. We Americans messed it up, though. |

Er...
Not necissarily, not all Lolita is "very poofy, frilly, lacy, etc. lots of layers. usually dresses or skirts, etc. they wear alot of fishnets and stripes, and stockings, and stuff." You have to be very specific about what kind. Most of them aren't even like those. And which kind of Lolita are those pictures? @_______________@;;; |

I personally think it's a horror to fashion, but I respect that these people have such a strong sense of their own personal style.

Lolita looks cute but looks completely immature when someone wears it for casualwear.

At least say that.
If you don't know what they are, point being? And even if people don't know and ask "what is it?" They can learn something new and find out by themselves. peggystur: Indeed it does. It's nice if it's a "spur of the moment" thing. But it's completely fine in Japan. That's where it originated from anyway. :3 |

its always wierd to walk around the city and seeing a girl in 'princess dress' or 'maiden's dress'. it'll be even wierder if that person was over 25.

Nopperz, not a costume for Halloween.
If it were, that would be an insult to the Japanese... It's a type of style in Japan. Much wrn over there than here. :3 |

^ PLEASE REFER TO THE PICTURES POSTED ABOVE.
I've seen people dressed as lolita style on the streets before, but still, I can't accept this kind of fashion. I think people are being really immature to bring their fairy-tale fantasties into reality. |

last time on tv I saw it's starting to become a trend in Hong Kong. There was this show that interviewed these girls age around 17? who wear lolita. They say they wanted to feel like a "princess" in these dresses. Personally I don't think lolita look that bad. I like the lolita design.
