Can someone give me like a 5 minute crash course on installing programs, opening a link in a new window, and other basic stuff like that for a Mac? I know it sounds kind of weird...I've used Macs before, but I need to get pretty familiar with it soon and seeing how I don't have one...yeah. Thanks.

Installing an Application
Most applications you install by dragging the application's icon onto your hard drive (generally into your Applications folder). Some come with an installer; if so, double-click the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.

Uninstalling an Application
Drag the application to the trash. You may need to search for and remove preference files from your Library; this is not necessary but can keep things tidy.

Opening a link in a new window
In Safari, Command-click a link to open it in a new window.

Quitting applications
Make sure you select Quit from the Application menu. Closing the last window does not always close an application.
