I got 15/24 which simplifies to 5/8.

3/4 x 5/6
3x5 is 15, and 4x6 is 24. So, it becomes 15/24. 15 divided by 3 is 5, and 24 divided by 3 is 8. (simplifying it) so 5/8. Does that make sense? |

Actually, I just read my notes and your both wrong.
You need to reduce the question before you do it. so it'd be 3/4 = 1/2 and 5/6 = 1/3 (or something like that i dont know if its right) and the answer i got was 1/6 after i multiplied that. |

Err, 3/4 does not reduce to 1/2. 3/4 is already in it's simplist form, as the same with 5/6. TwistMe is right about the math and answer.
