I didn't realize this till today...

Tomorrow's September 11th. Please take a little time out of your day tomorrow to think about all those who lost their lives or lost their loved ones. It doesn't even have to be a while...just a a minute or two would be good :] Thank you.

Sadly, well I don't know if it is sad, but it is also my homies b-day tommorow. I used to joke around and blame it on him that it happened. He's bad luck and on the day of his birth was the day that shit had to happen.

All joking aside. May those involved in that big incident 4 years ago. Rest In Peace

RIP all the people that died on 9/11 and the Hurricane Katrina Victims. May God be with you

i don't think that everyone has to jump all over one person for not knowing the year.

i remember september 11th...i live like 15 minutes on foot away from ground zero. as if i can forget, they changed a whole bunch of crap...like instead of just going from point to point, i have to walk all over the place. it's all such an inconvenience.

but...i got kind of upset when that happened. my first ex went to brooklyn tech when it happened and all the stuy kids had to go to his school and wrecked the place. god, those people are just asses.

They were both huge. The east coast has taken its share of huge beatings. I don't think that it will get overshadowed, I just think that the hurricane will be more likely to be remembered since the results were much more catastrophic. Ironic, the hurrican happens around the same time that 9/11 has.

Wow, I need to read things more carefully. Thanks, though.

The hurricane was a natural event that led to human neglect, and September 11th was caused by humans entirely. I don't know which one is worse. They are both equally worth remembering.

Again, rest in peace to the victims in both events.

I just finished watching the memorial. On the memorial in 2002, the political leaders read all the names of those who died. In 2003, the children of those who died read the names. In 2004, the parents of those who died read the names. and this year, 2005, the siblings of those who died read the names. I still remember what I was doing when I found out. I was in school and I looked out the window, and I could see it. Then in school, we stopped classes and just watched the news channel.

I'm glad this year's 9/11 is on a weekend. My high school is three blocks away from Ground Zero so I could hear the memorial speeches two years ago. It's rather haunting to hear the speeches from the school because you really can't figure out where it is from.
