Table transparency messing everything up! Options

When I made my layout, I used 80% opacity for my tables but the transparency is making everything on the tables such as my images messed up.....

Is there any way that I could only make my tables the opacity I want and not the pictures??

Umm. It looks fine to me, and I'm using firefox.

Yeah...
when I checked my profile on Firefox, it doesn't show a couple of the effects that's supposed to be on there but in Internet Explorer it's there..

Hmm. the invert colors isn't working on firefox.

Not to mention the glowing hover effects that I just put...
Are there any codes that would work on both browsers by any chance?
