Can you guys help me ...with ways in how the internet brings together people as a community?

explain what it is and how it relates to your topic.

this should probably be in homework though, but im sure itll generate more ideas here.

there are all sorts of communities: neighborhoods, small towns, churches, etc. the internet community, like so many others, can be sub-categorize. there are forum communities to discuss religion, sex, teens. there are communities for blogging like xanga or myspace. i think they're all just cyber versions of everyday communities; there's just a tad more lawlessness is all.

first, i'd section your prompt into a two-part question: how the internet brings people together, and how people form communities on the net.

what do you think?
