Fashion?
But yeah, it really is annoying. Especially jeans, when you wash them, they get tighter, so sometime it's harder to put them on... |

Let me tell you a story:
Last September, I bought a crocheted hat from AE. I loved that hat. I wore it pretty much everyday from September to May. Anyway, by April, it was pretty stretched out. Well, one night I went out. At my college, we have this weekend called "Houseparty Weekend" which is basically a big party with all the fraternities on campus. Anyway, it poured the second night, and I got really went. So I trudged back to my dorm room around 4:30 in the morning and threw all my clothes in the dryer, including my hat. When I took my hat out of the dryer, I noticed it had shrunk considerably. "Oh no!" I thought. "My favorite hat! It shrunk!" I was crestfallen. Then I put it on and realized something: it had shrunk back to its original size!. That's right--it had become so stretched that shrinking it made it the right size again. Thank God for the ability to shrink clothing, I say. |

eh, I don't mind shrinking, you just need to take care of your clothes. I like it when my jeans shrink after the wash, they fit me better.

I hate it! I buy the size that fits me well, and it shrinks to where it's too short. So I tried buying shirts that were too big for me so they'd shrink to a good size, right? Wrongg. They still get to short. And to add on to that, they're still too big in width. I've ruined 5 shirts from my last school shopping spree because of that.
![]() But some stores have already prewashed clothes so that way they've already shrunk as much as they will. |

I HATE THAT. So this year I started doing this - I buy clothes that fit me perfectly and when I wash them, I don't put them in the dryer so the only way they'll get smaller is if I get bigger.

^I'm sorry
I also hate it when color fades and gosh on other shirts. My favorite pair of boyshorts (that said "bite me") got all brown and yucky. It used to be black. Also one of my old bra that used to be blue turned pink. But it was still prettty |

i think i know why it shrinks. cause i do want to shrink some of my clothes cause somtimes it fits better but, the reason why the clothes shrink, usually is the amount of softner you put, then you put it in the drier.
i do my own laundry and i did put a lot of softner in my clothes but i do it when i have a special batch like xl clothes. lol but it usually is about how much softner you put in it. |

Ew. You should try them on the fitting rooms duh, but if they shrink then don't dry your 90 dollar abercrombie jeans, air dry them. |

ASDCFGBVYGBUIG. YES.
this always happens to my hot topic shirts, and rave shirts. yeah, i bought this happy bunny shirt from hot topic once about a year ago, and when i washed it and put it back on, my belly button showed..D= damn. oh yeah, this also happens to my tank tops. i hate that. QUOTE It pretty much sucks when my jeans are kind of baggy, like I like them, and then they get tighter because they shrunk. Weak sauce. yes, i hate hat too. when i have some jeans that are the perfect fit, and just a tad baggy around the feet, and then they shrink in the wash, and they're at my ankles. |
