The pop up thing does pop up and tells me that it's private but it doesn't redirect me or anything it could be that you didn't paste everything or some other code is effecting it.

It doesn't work in Mozilla. I can get in fine. So... Any Geko-family browser should be able to get in.

Because Mozilla is smart and doesn't allow stupid Javascript codes like that. mellow.gif
It screws with your browser and doesn't work half the time anyways. There are ways to bypass it, y'know.
And no.

so that means there's no way to block other people if they use mozilla? because i dont want some people to read my xanga, but i also want my friends to know about my life...

.... No. Did I not make that clear? mellow.gif Unless you want to try to figure out how to IP-block them. Which is fairly impossible with Xanga.
Or if you know Javascript and feel like scripting something that works in bothMozilla and IE. Which I figure you probably can't. You probably don't have the time either.

Okay. You can spend six months learning Javascript + another two making the script. Actually, trying. You might not even get anywhere. mellow.gif
And no, I don't. Which I why I said no in the first place.

it is impossible to fully block anyone with javascript. the xanga blocking tool is pretty useless because anyone could just make a new account to post and read. you should look up "protected posting" in xanga help--this allows only friends you put on the list to read posts you protected.
