today my dog started chewing on some ant poison.by the tie i found out he had swallowed most of it.but the thing is the ant poison doesnt even work on the ants


WELL IT HAVE A EFFECT WID MY DOG? huh.gif

Probably. See what happens after a little while and if he's acting funny, bring him to a vet. My old dog died from poisoning, but he drank anti-freeze.

1) what brand is it?
2) how much of the stuff did your dog consume?
3) is there a number on the product that you can call and ask this question
4) if there isn't a number, call the vet and make an appointment

Hmm, My dog did the same thing. It shouldn`t affect him. Your gunna have to see what happen`s and find out from the vet, Call him. Hopefully everything works good for you.

my dog ate ant poison AND a whole bag of chocolate chips in the same day, and he just threw up a bit, did some diarrhea...yea.
then we took him to the vet and he was fine. thumbsup.gif
so hopefully it'll be likewise for you.

haha you're asking a whole bunch of people online.

they make vets for a reason. im not trying to be mean, but honestly...if you want your dog to live you would have immediatly taken it to a vet.

Go to the vet before you suffer alot.
If you're not going to do that, make him vomit by feeding him yummy human food. It'll release the some posion.

Nothing happens to my old dog. My old dog is no where to be found including her puppies. I think my dog died already. She was old.
