I got this e-mail from service@yahoo.com

"
Dear Yahoo Member,

Your e-mail account was used to send a huge amount of
unsolicited spam messages during the recent week. If
you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online
experience and confirm the attached document so you
will not run into any future problems with the online
service.

If you choose to ignore our request, you leave us no
choice but to cancel your membership.

Virtually yours,
The Yahoo Support Team
"

Do you know if this is a virus? Please help =( I didn't send any spam, I only use this account for Craiglist.

Has this ever happened to someone and their account was actually deleted?

You understand that part right? So I dont think its a virus. Just wait for 5-10 minutes and see what happens.

No, I think that is fake. Yahoo would never ask you to do that and I doubt they would cancel your membership unless you broke their rules or something. I suggest you don't pay it any attention, as it probably is a virus.

I've never heard of Yahoo cancelling memberships. They're free, afterall.

I don't think it's true; just don't listen to them.
Either report it as 'Spam' or just delete it and ignore the e-mail.
Chances are the Yahoo! team won't delete your membership for sending spam messages, or at least, I don't think.

Delete it. Yahoo would never send you information like that through email. Delete it now. The attachment contains a virus.
