^ Yup it does. In fact, there's more than enough for shoulder length.
Don't worry if it gets on your face/ears, it'll wash out.
& wear a top that you won't mind getting dye on.

DON'T COLOR YOUR HAIR!!!..In like 2 years or less your gonna wish for your old hair backk!!!..natural look is the way to go...I mean it coloring jusst means you have to wait for it to grow our...color your roots again & again..or dry hair & very bad split ends..jusst appreciate the hair you have now..People who have color prolly think it's a pain..If you don't listen to me you'll jusst have to learn the hard way for yourself... ermm.gif

Yeah same here, people envy my hair no joke, but go to a salon, and if you don't do that test thing, I didn't, serious reaction.

Errm, I've been chemically damaging my hair since 2nd grade because my mom's a cosmetologist, but my hair is still fine...Errm, thanks to my thick, oily hair and the shampoo and conditioner stubborn.gif

Ah, I suggest you try getting it done professionally this time, and ask them forsome tips if you want to do it yourself next time. Since your hair isn't too dark the color should be able to hold on. Re-dying roots can be a bitch if you don't have someone to do it the moment you'd like for it to be done...

If you do it yourself you might not fully end up getting the color on all of your hair. But, remember to color the roots, flip your hair all different directions to get the roots done. And you can get out the color from your skin by rubbing shampoo and warm water. It works for me and the bath tub all the time. happy.gif

That's so not true. You just can't expect something unrealistic. (eg. expecting just to be able to throw some red hair dye into black hair and end up as a stunning redhead)

Since you've never had your hair dyed before, i'd suggest getting it done professionally, like everyone else says. However, if you're set on it, make sure to conditoin well within the week ahead of time, and use the conditioner that comes with the dye as soon as you're done. Also. dont do anything drastic, if you want it to look natural. Lastly, if you're doing it yourself, make sure you get the dye ALL OVER your hair...do it like you're shampooing and practically lather it in. I'd do it in a bathroom where you can get a good view of your hair and make sure all of your hair is saturated with the dye.

Actually if your hair is a "virgin" its easier to get the color you want.. just watch out with the blonde, apply it to your ends first and then to the roots because the roots absorb the color fast and youll end up with lighter roots and dark ends

err... what she said. my friend highlights her own hair and she says it's really easy. she got it done first at a salon, so go to a salon first and then dye your own hair.

It's your decision whether or not to dye your hair. Personally, I think sometimes roots look cool. Yes, I have dyed my hair before.

As for making it look natural, if you're dyeing all of your hair, just try not to pick a color too far from say.... the color of your eyebrows. If you're just doing highlights, then do THIN streaks instead of big chunky ones. Barely any looks kinda funny, but so does a lot, so a medium amount of highlights is good.

Yeah, the dye should be able to cover shoulder-length hair and you can probably use a strwaking cap if u want strips
