If I had a boyfriend right now I'd get him a gift card or DVD or CD (that you know he'll like)..It's jusst common sense to me cause why should I pick it out when he can jusst do it soO I don't get him something corny!!..(lol)..

Well, the things my husband likes are usually Japanese things, like toksatsu and stuff like that... or old wrestling things... so I usually find things that are way hard to find... maybe bootleg kamen rider or ranger series...
But for our one year anniversary I got him a really nice watch.

Hmm, for Christmas, I baked him a cake, gave him a stuffed teddy bear and wrote him a love letter in the shape of a heart.
For his birthday, I wrote him several poems and gave him a mix cd of meaningful love songs.
For our 6 months, I bought him a Creative Zen Micro because he wanted one, and he bought me an iPod, so I wanted to get him something too.
For our anniversay, I plan on making him a scrapbook of all the times we've spent together, and on the last page, I would include the last heart. (For the past 3 months, I had made an origami heart with a reason why I loved him in the middle and a translation of "I love you" on the other side, and I had given it to him everyday. I already gave him 99, and the last one will be in the scrapbook).

Yeah...

Something DIY would impress your bf. But you can't make anything, buy something that you think he might like. It does not have to be things that are materialistic or pricey.
